Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Leavitt Building Group (“Leavitt Building Group,” “we,” “us”) collects through buildleavitt.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only.

Information you give us

The only place this site asks for information is the contact form. When you submit it, we receive:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
• The type of project you selected
• Anything you write in the project details field

Please don’t send sensitive information — such as financial account numbers or government identification numbers — through the contact form. It isn’t the right channel for it.

Information collected automatically

This site uses Google Tag Manager, which loads the measurement and marketing tags our marketing team has configured — for example website analytics and advertising tags. These tags, and Google Tag Manager itself, may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and how you interact with it.

Some of these tags may be used to measure the performance of our advertising or to show you our ads on other websites. Information collected this way is processed by Google and any other tag provider we use, under their own privacy policies.

Separately, our web host keeps standard server logs, which typically include IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the time of the request. These logs are used to operate and secure the site.

Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a “do not track” or tracking-protection option. Google publishes its own opt-out tools for the analytics and advertising products it operates.

Third parties involved in running this site

Loading a page on this site causes your browser to contact:

• Netlify — hosts the website and processes contact form submissions on our behalf.
• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — serves the typefaces used on this site. Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
• unpkg (unpkg.com) — serves the icon set used on this site, and likewise receives your IP address.
• Google Tag Manager (googletagmanager.com) — loads the analytics and marketing tags described above, and receives your IP address.

These providers handle that data under their own privacy policies. Our pages also link out to Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps, and a client portal; once you follow one of those links, the destination site’s own policies apply.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to:

• Respond to your inquiry and answer questions
• Prepare estimates and discuss scope, budget, and timeline
• Carry out and manage work you engage us for
• Keep ordinary business records, and meet legal or licensing obligations

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers who help us run the business, such as our web host and email provider
• With architects, designers, suppliers, and trade partners, where doing so is necessary to respond to your inquiry or carry out your project
• Where we are required to by law, or to establish or defend legal claims
• With the analytics and advertising providers whose tags run on this site, as described under “Information collected automatically”

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain records of our projects and business dealings. Where a project goes ahead, records are kept for the period required by our contracts, insurance, and applicable licensing and tax rules.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email discover@buildleavitt.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep certain records where the law or an existing contract requires it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, though, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
